Mark joined the insurance industry in 1999, working in both business development positions for major life insurance carriers and running his own insurance planning practice. He has worked with 1000s of insurance and financial advisors over his career helping train and advise on advanced insurance solutions. As an account executive with Empire Life, he has the privilege of supporting independent insurance and financial advisors across his region.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, with a Bachelor in Commerce. His industry designations include: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and he is working towards his Trusts and Estate Practitioner (TEP). Married to his beautiful wife Julia, he has 2 boys. If not playing with the kids, you’ll find him playing Soccer, Hockey or Golf or peacefully reading!
