The position – Commercial Account Executive (Producer)

We are currently hiring for a full-time Insurance Producer to market and sell commercial and/or transportation insurance policies while providing professional customer service. This rare and exciting position allows for the opportunity to build a clientele of business. The ideal candidate will demonstrate determination, drive and a competitive nature in order to be a top producer. Individuals will directly support and contribute to sales goals for the agency or department assigned via the agent. You will meet long-term and short-term goals for agency growth, including cross-sell opportunities and new business.

Requirements:

  • Develop leads and schedule appointments while providing excellent customer service to your clients
  • Provide underwriting and rating for new accounts
  • Prospect and network in order to build a book of commercial businesses
  • Actively solicit expiration dates from new clients and prospects
  • Develop agency relationships with existing clients
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and initiatives
  • Meets the production requirements and goals assigned by the agent or agency manager
  • Maintain monthly sales records and provide copies for review to the agent and/or agency manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned

The position - Account Manager (Personal Lines)

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our growing team! The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years’ experience working in the insurance industry and has a passion for deliving extraordinary service.
 

Key responsibilities:
To provide an extraordinary Bryson experience by offering a wide variety of insurance solutions, customer service and creating a best in class customer experience that results in retention and referrals..

Duties:

  • Provide ongoing friendly Customer Service, advising on insurance matters, assessing needs, recommending solutions, answering inquiries
  • Ensuring clients fully understand policy coverage and exclusions through clear and concise communication
  • Retaining existing clientele through extraordinary service levels, remarketing of renewals to alternate insurance companies, ensuring mono-line accounts are solicited for the other line and directed to New Business Account Managers
  • Ensure the quality of business renewed or re-written meets B&A guidelines
  • Referral of prospects to Bryson Financial for cross sell opportunities
  • Reporting new claims and suspending follow up claims management per protocol to Claims Coordinator always showing empathy
  • Processing policy changes on company portals, suspending follow up to In House Underwriter for review and proactively communicating billing changes to clients
  • Responsible for pulling all reports, after obtaining required consents and documenting file

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of insurance wordings
  • Strong Customer Service Skills including effective listening and people skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills, MS Word, Excel ,Outlook, CQ, Sig, Blue Butler and company portals
  • Effective listening and people skills
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail imperative to eliminate any errors or omissions

  • Strong ability to problem-solve difficult situations and provide solutions

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in the insurance industry
  • SIG experience an asset
  • CIP or CAIB designation or working toward this designation an asset
  • RIBO licence an asset

The position - Technical Service Representative - Commercial Lines

The ideal candidate is a strong team-player, self-motivated, and must love their career! The role is to provide administrative and technical support to account managers and executives with an end mission to create an extraordinary service experience for our clients and internal team.

Job Duties include but not limited to:

  • Confirmation of insurance and back-up for certificates
  • Suspense management
  • Preparation / updating of Equipment, Vehicle, and Driver Lists
  • Preparation of IFTA summaries on request
  • Retaining existing clientele through superior service levels, remarketing of renewals to alternate insurance companies, ensuring mono-line accounts are solicited for the other line
  • Following protocols with extreme attention to detail
  • Manage suspenses on a daily basis
  • Front end scanning
  • Preperation of policy and/or presentation binders
  • Ordering and processing driver abstracts
  • Work closely with Account Managers in delivering extraordinary service
